Honest Review – Well Verti

Well Verti Review

Let me be honest with you before I write this. My wife is actually the one who bought this, and I only came in on the back end, but this does not impact my review; it only strengthens it. (Not Sponsored But Open To It…)

We are talking about water filters in your home and more specifically, the wellness pod shower filter from Well Verti

Before I had kids, I didn’t give much thought to the water filtration industry. Over the past five years, however, I’ve invested heavily in it—and I genuinely believe most people living in Australia should be paying closer attention to the quality of water coming out of their taps and shower outlets.

Below, I’ll break down the three most important aspects you need to consider.

Why Should I Even Bother With a Filter

Look, we’ve all been there:

  • I live in Australia, and the waters are not that bad
  • All these water filters look the same. Do they even work
  • They look ugly and bulky
  • I’m not getting a plumber in just for that

All the questions I have asked myself when someone brings up water filters, and I do this for a living.

So I get the apprehension of even entertaining getting a water filter

First Impressions — You just need to be able to screw on and off

First thing you notice is the filter actually looks nice, so many of these look like an extra from an 80’s sci-fi thriller

Right off the bat, this thing installed pretty straightforward. No plumber, no drama, no 6-hour saga with knobs and hoses.

Mate, you take it out of the box, you unscrew the shower head, and you screw on the filter, the most unhandy of unhandymen can do this, trust me.

Real Talk: How It Performed

If you drink shower water, I can tell you it tastes better, no funky aftertaste. No weird mineral-like feelings on the back of your throat. It’s just… clean water. Plain and simple.

For the more normal people who just use shower water to shower, I personally found on a base level that the shower screen glass was a lot easier to clean.

Are there long-term health benefits? I’m confident there are, but my review comes purely from the perspective of someone who works with bathrooms every day. For me, one of the biggest and most noticeable advantages is how much easier filtered water makes cleaning glass—an important factor you should be aware of.

The Downsides? Let’s Be Real

I’m gonna be straight: every filter costs money over time. Replacement cartridges aren’t free. That’s just a fact, but it’s not the end of the world.

The other downside is the issue with most at-home filters, which can look a little bulky if you already have a bit going on in your shower area.

Final Thoughts — Is It Worth It?

In an ideal world, anyone dealing with harsh water—or simply wanting a healthier home—would install a whole-house water filtration system at the mains. However, the reality is that systems costing $5,000 or more just aren’t a practical option for most families.

That’s where the Well Verti shower filters come in. At around $100, these filters attach directly to your existing shower outlet and offer an excellent alternative for anyone conscious about their own health, their family’s wellbeing, or the damage harsh water can cause to shower screens and fixtures.

Easy cleaning is king in bathrooms in 2026, and adding a shower filter is a simple way to make everyday maintenance easier. What really sets this product apart from others I’ve seen is the attention to design—something that matters more than ever in modern bathrooms.
